Cast of this Story

Here, you can read about the HC AU thing I have been writing for a while now. This is a story about recovering and finding a home with others in spite of tragedy. Even if life is cruel, there's always joy to be found. As a result, the crux of the narrative is about trauma and how it affects people. While these characters go through it, things do get better (aside from Jadeite, but that's besides the point). The character pages delve into heavier subject matters, including ones touched upon in canon. Content warnings are listed below.

Overall

-Human experimentation, abuse of both adults and children (an act of physical abuse and gaslighting are described on Jadeite and Weiss's pages in the Las Vegas segment, child abuse is only referenced and not described), manipulation, violence, death, child endangerment.

Individual character specific ones:

-Weiss: Suicide ideation, drinking, car accidents.

-Elenoa: Family death, drinking.

-Jadeite: Canon compliant body horror text. Of note, he is a perpetrator of a lot of trauma discussed.

-Jade: Canon compliant body horror text.

Otherwise, you can click on a character's icon to go to their page. Given their focus in Lapistoria, writing for these characters is really fun. I have stuff to work off of, but there's still so much room for elaborating/adding things.

Some ocs are mentioned. Alex (short for Alexandrite) is Nia and Toa's mother and a past vessel of the Original Lapis, while Bonbon is based off the paku from the pajama party card Jade was on. I do have other ocs for this narrative, but they're not mentioned in these character pages.
